Our classes are small to ensure that every participants receives the support, space and time needed to take their Italian to the next level.

If you love to read and are looking to practise your Italian reading and conversation skills, our monthly online book club is the right place for you. Challenge your Italian language skills by reading books by Italian authors.
If you are looking for an immersive experience, where you will interactively practise your Italian, join our online workshops held by our Italian teachers and Italian native-speaking guests.
Our workshops are all in Italian. They vary from interactive conversation meetups, to a combination of yoga and cooking classes and workshops about Italian regions and dialects.

I’m Irene Malentacchi and I am the founder of Italian in Love. Born and raised in Italy, I have been living in London since 2011. I have been passionate about languages since my early years, to the point of moving abroad as soon as I graduated.
After working in marketing and sales, I realised that wasn’t my path. My love for languages and helping others pushed me to leave my full-time job to become an Italian teacher.
Italian in Love is the result of years of exploring different ways of teaching, and listening to my students’ needs. This led me to come up with the concept of learning Italian while doing something that you love.
Take a second to think about your hobbies and the things that you love to do; from reading a book, to listening to a podcast, to having a drink with a friend. Now, imagine if you could do this and more while learning Italian.
Finally, get rid of the “could”, because this is what we are here to help you achieve.
